These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of UsageFlow, AI Runtime Billing Infrastructure for metering, controlling, and billing AI and API usage. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of Service
UsageFlow provides runtime metering, policy enforcement, and billing sync tools. You may use our service to:
- Instrument apps with UsageFlow agents / middleware
- Meter usage in real time with billing-grade accuracy
- Block costly calls before execution via Ledger policies
- Sync usage events to payment processors like Stripe
- Operate metering from the Console
You agree to use UsageFlow only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Account and Authentication
To use certain features of UsageFlow, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and complete information
We use third-party authentication providers (such as Google and Auth0) for account management. By using these services, you also agree to their respective terms and privacy policies.

We collect only the data necessary to provide our services, including usage metrics, endpoint information, and billing data. All data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
4. Intellectual Property
The UsageFlow platform, including its software, design, logos, and content, is owned by UsageFlow and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data and API endpoints.
You grant UsageFlow a license to use your data solely for the purpose of providing our services. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the UsageFlow platform without our written permission.

While we strive to provide a reliable service, UsageFlow is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- That all features will always be available
- That the service will meet all your specific requirements
As we're in early stages, we may experience downtime, bugs, or feature changes. We appreciate your understanding and will work to resolve issues promptly.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UsageFlow shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Service interruptions or unavailability
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- Fail to pay fees when due
Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease, and we may delete your account and data.
